Would you survive a shark attack? Or a zombie apocalypse? Most importantly, what kind of fruit are you? Learn the answers to these questions and more with the 2018 Edition of the App Camp For Girls Compendium!
The Compendium features 8 short quizzes and choose your own adventure games, developed by middle school girls, transgender and gender non conforming youth at App Camp for Girls, a non-profit program whose mission is to empower underrepresented youth by providing engaging and accessible educational programs in software development.
In one week, the participants brainstorm ideas, design icons and interface, build their quizzes in Xcode, and make their own swag. Each session culminates in a fun pitch session with a panel of investors and entrepreneurs, where the young developers get to show off their work.
